I would love it if we could be affies.
It's easy!

NOTE: You can add more than one of your sites, and it can to do with anything, though it can't be...
Thanks! I don't have a form for you to tell me you've linked me, only the Guestbook - I've ran out of quota. Or there's my e-mail - so just pop over to the 'Contact Me' page. Or, if you need more information, scroll down and read the 'Affiliaion: Q & A'.

Also, if you like, I can make you a banner/button. Send me an image you'd like to be made into a banner with your site URL and your name. Please don't treat me like poo you'd like to scrape off your shoes and please don't change the banner using editing tools. You also need to give me the credit. So the wise thing to do is affiliate with me. =]
Easy-peasy, lemon-squeezy!

Please note that you will need to add my site URL to the banner. If you have trouble with the banner, I'll send it to you via email. =P

*Please make sure your banner is around 88x31. If not, I'll have to resize it to this size.
**My affies are posted below the Enter banner on the Index page.
Q: What is affiliation?
A: Affiliation is when two sites link each other to gain more hits. For example, on my 'Affiliates' page, I've linked Yorella. If you were to go to Yorella, you'd find Rayfire on the Affies page.

Q: Why should I affiliate?
A: Affiliation is a good (plus sneaky =D) way to get more hits. Say, if someone visited Hbunny's site, went to the '123 Great Sites 2 See!' page and decided to go to Rayfire, a hit would be gained because of Affiliation.

Q: Who should I affiliate?
A: Anybody you want to. If you're going to affiliate a site 'cause it gets millions of hits, don't. It's normally a good if idea to affiliate with people whose sites have the same sort of topic as yours (e.g., cars, fashion, St. Trinians). But I link anybody 'cause I love heaps of sites. =] My bad. *.*

Q: Someone asked if we can Affiliate. What do I do?
A: Visit their site. If they've left a link in their message, use it, or request one. If you like the site, tell them the news and put up their banner (they should have one on their site), or make them one if you're feeling kind. Or just put the damn link on your Affies page. =P

Q: Someone asked to Affiliate, but I don't think it would work. What should I do?
A: Contact them. Yeah, sure, you might feel evil at saying no, but just say something like, "Maybe now isn't the best time," or something, and shove in plenty of supportive comments, i.e., "I love the layout", "You have a knack for web-building!", "Ooh, I love your graphics!". You get the idea.

Q: I want to affiliate with someone. How do I go about it?
A: Contact them. Leave a link and ask them to check your site out and leave the rest to them. Make sure your message isn't chatspeak. That won't go down well. I mean, "plz cn we b affies? link below k thx c ya xx" is OK for MSN, but mebbe normal speech mode is best. If they refuse, don't hurl abuse at them and stuff. Dead immature. Thank them for their time and leave it there and if you like the site, still visit it.

Q: We've agreed to be Affies but they haven't linked me yet. What should I do?
A: If it's been a week or two, contact them and ask them what's up. Don't sound sarky, keep it friendly; and if they don't link you within the next week remove their link from the affies page. If they email you and demand why you removed their link, tell them you don't think you should be affies (see above for tips). I mean, a good affie or a bad one?

Q: What do I need to Affiliate?
A: A banner/button, a place to put you affies, and means of contact. Easy peasy.
